Altered Carbon, one of the most expensive productions of the online streaming platform Netflix, seems to be talked about again with its second season. The series, which we see as the Falcon in the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will take its place on the platform in 2 weeks.
The series takes place in the future, with the advancing technology, to transfer the human consciousness to a different body and thus important names can continue their lives. Takeshi Kovacs, which is at the center of the story, appears as a name whose consciousness was loaded into a new body and brought back to life years later to solve a murder.
Adapted from the science fiction novel of the same name by Richard K. Morgan, we recently came across the promotional trailer of the second season. After about a minute of this promotional trailer, the main trailer was finally released.
Altered Carbon Season 2 Trailer
Laeta Kalogridis, who we know with productions such as Shutter Island and Alita: Battle Angel, is the head of the series project. Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman, who takes the character of Takeshi Kovacs in the first season, was replaced by Anthony Mackie, as we mentioned at the beginning. Apart from the MCU, we also know Mackie for his role in another Netflix production Black Mirror series.
When will Altered Carbon Season 2 be released?
Altered Carbon Season 2 includes Renee Elise Goldsberry, known for her Quellcrist Falconer character, and Chris Conner, known for her Poe character. Recognizing Conner, an uncertain name whether it will be in the second season or not, from the duo that will continue from last season as familiar names, made the series followers quite happy.
Together with Anthony Mackie, Torben Liebrecht, Lela Loren, Simone Missick, James Saito and Dina Shihabi will be other actors that we will meet in the new season of the series.
Altered Carbon season 2 will take its place in the Netflix library on February 27, 2020.
