Infinity Ward chief Patrick Kelly explained. Call of Duty: Warzone will update the 150 player limit to the 200 player limit.
Call of Duty made a very sudden and equally intense entry to the battle royale video game category. Call of Duty: Warzone was played by 6 million players in the first 24 hours. In the opening made by Activision to USA Today, it was announced that the game’s 150-person map support would be increased to 200 players.
The game, which had become a significant threat from the first day against games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, was developed by Infinity Ward with the support of Raven Ward. Console and PC players can play the game together, as explained on the official Call of Duty blog.
Infinity Ward president Patrick Kelly said in the statement that the game is able to handle 200-person maps, but they will add it to the game when they are sure everything is perfect.
Patrick Kelly said that they would increase the number of 3-person teams to 4, 5, and even 9-person teams. He added that they tested them, and the results were pretty good.
